Janice Da Silva
Humanitarian, Diplomatist and Global Goodwill Ambassador, Social Worker, with 21 years of professional experience in development and International management, mainly within the United Nations System such as UN-Habitat, UNODC, UNDP, UNFPA, UN-AIDS, GIZ. She obtained the Women in Leadership Award 2022 from the Global Leaders Council. She has an educational background in Diplomatic Studies, International Cooperation and Social Services. She is currently the administrator of the DEV 17, the multi-professional global network for acceleration of Sustainable Development Goals at the International Advisory Board of Goodwill Ambassadors, (AHIABGA), USA; member of the UN Global Compact and Human Rights Executive at Global Peace Let’s Talk. She speaks Kriol, Portuguese, English, French and Spanish; and is also a poet. A Retro Dresses designer with own brand “Minina Retro” that implements the global program ODOS (One Dress, One Smile) that she founded to empower women slum dwellers through fashion and capacity development for small business management. She is a global motivational speaker, emotional and spiritual coach. She is Catholic and part of the Voluntary Consecrated Lay Women.
